About

I’m a certified life coach with a background in education and marketing. I focus on personal PR in which I help people represent their true selves online. The words we use and pictures we choose make a difference.

Professional Background

I have always had a passion for helping people and wanting to make an impact in people’s lives. I have a Master’s degree in education and was a secondary English and math teacher for ten years. I then worked in marketing and worked for a multi-billion dollar company. What I appreciated about both worlds was my ability to create an impact and make a difference.

Throughout my experiences, I became an expert in how words and pictures were used to tell a story. I learned how to evoke emotions and find ways to connect with people online. I also used my coaching skills to gain insight into personal goals to help others overcome their own obstacles and reach new heights as well as gain a sense of self-worth and confidence.

With that, PR just fell into my lap. It’s something I have always done for those around me and I learned that there was a need for it outside my friends and family. We all have goals and good intentions. Expressing those the way we want is not always easy. That’s where I come in!

My Personal Background

My husband and I met in 2008, online - when it was still somewhat frowned upon. We both swiped right and I sent him a message saying, “You’re quite the babe.” The rest is history and three years later, we married. We now have a beautiful daughter and a dog and reside in Colorado (where I was born and raised).

When I’m not working, I love spending time with friends and family. Whether it’s gathering around to watch a football game, playing board games, celebrating a birthday, or attending a concert, I’m happy just being in a room full of people — a true extrovert.

My other passions involve reading, trashy TV, and traveling. I want my daughter to take advantage of opportunities I didn’t have and develop an appreciation for different cultures, languages, and countries.

For me, life is an adventure. As my husband always says, “You may regret not doing it, but you won’t ever regret giving it a try.”

That’s the decree I try to live by.
